In 2005, musical director of Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, the late Ellen Michelmore, saw something special in Amber. Ellen, who was dear friend and vocal coach to Amber, had asked her to cover Janis Joplin in  her production "Woodstockmania." Amber's performance was so well received that shortly after, Joplin's Pearl

was born.

Playing such distinctive venues as Theatre Three - Port Jefferson NY, The Argyle Theatre - Babylon Village NY, The Iridium NYC, The Paramount - Huntington NY, The Patchogue Theater - Patchogue NY and The Suffolk Theater - Riverhead NY to name a few, Amber has taken her "Joplin's Pearl WOODSTOCK Show" to a level of a full theater production.  Authentic attire, an 9-piece band with a 4-piece horn section, Amber's paramount celebration to the very heart and soul of Janis Joplin and music of the WOODSTOCK Era, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Joni Michell, Led Zeppelin & more will bring you back to the Summer of Love...
